Our 14th century building has always been a place of hospitality, from a guest house for the monks of St Mary’s Abbey, to a unique and beautiful wedding venue today.
Our warm and friendly team are here to guide you through your day and welcome you and your guests into our historic building, providing you with all the amenities you could need.
Set within the botanical York Museum Gardens in the heart of the city, it is an incredible location to entertain guests and capture moments on camera.
With the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey, there is no better backdrop to your day! Easy to get to with plenty of wonderful accommodation nearby, it’s a hidden gem within this beautiful city.
Our stunning downstairs space seats up to 100 guests for the wedding ceremony, whilst our upstairs room seats up to 120 diners. We can host 150 guests for evening receptions.
