ASFF 2016

3 – 6 November 2016

The BAFTA Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival returns for its 6th year, running from 3 – 6 November 2016 and taking place in 15 distinct venues across York, including at the Yorkshire Museum.

This year’s festival will showcase over 300 films as part of its Official Selection, and will also present a number of special screenings from guest countries and organisations.

ASFF and the Northern Film School at Leeds Beckett University have teamed up to present a new for 2016, celebrating best screenplay in the Official Selection.

Other new events include Morning Coffee hour – a place to discuss best practice, and the industry sessions such as Meet the Film Festivals return by popular demand. Over 28 masterclasses with leading film organisations will offer essential advice and support for both emerging and established filmmakers.
