York Castle Museum

York Castle Museum’s recreated Victorian Street is its most famous attraction and never fails to delight. Surrounded by dozens of shops packed with goods from another era, the street is a spacious but surprisingly intimate evening venue.

Your guests will enjoy a truly unique dining experience. Seated banquets for up to 80 people can be held on the street itself.

The Castle is a favourite location for Christmas events when the street is decorated in Victorian splendour - please book early.

It is also possible to hire the Museum for much larger buffet and drinks receptions, with a maximum capacity of 300 guests. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements in greater detail and we will be delighted to help you plan your event.
