The Hospitium

The Hospitium is a picturesque 14th century listed building within York's beautiful Museum Gardens.

The venue is set over two floors, giving the flexibility of providing an ideal space for all types of functions, from conference dinners to family celebrations and Christmas parties.

We can host seated banquets for up to 135 guests and drinks/buffet receptions for up to 200 guests. The ground floor provides the ideal space for drinks receptions, exhibition space and offers an informal seating area for guests, whilst the first floor is perfect for the seated banquets.

The Hospitium is solely available for private hire throughout the day and evening and, subject to availability, can be accessed prior to the start of events for preparation.
