York Art Gallery
York Art Gallery offers a unique venue for smaller evening wedding receptions and for couples looking to add a cultural and contemporary flavour to their event.
The Gallery is home to 600 years of British and European art and was refurbished in 2005. The main entrance looks out onto the fountains of Exhibition Square, the City Walls and York Minster, providing the ideal setting for summer evening photography.
We can host drinks receptions for up to 150 guests in the Gallery. Entertainment to complement evening receptions, such as string quartets, can be arranged at an additional charge.
