Evening events at the Yorkshire Museum

The Yorkshire Museum is home to fascinating treasures and exhibitions

Yorkshire Museum

The Yorkshire Museum is one of the first purpose-built museums in the country and its classical façade, a portico with four imposing Doric columns, looks out over the beautiful Museum Gardens.

Evening events are hosted in the reception area and main gallery of the Museum, offering guests the opportunity to browse the gallery space which hosts our programme of special exhibitions.

Receptions at the Museum are an ideal complementary event to a lecture or function in the adjoining Tempest Anderson Hall auditorium.

Tours around the rest of the museum, home to many archaeological treasures, can be arranged.

Limits on numbers for evening events vary depending on our current exhibitions and events – please contact us to discuss your requirements.
